Court allows second and third annual accountings in Loomis-Sawaske matter

At the Aug. 4 probate docket call the court allowed the second and third annual accountings in the Loomis-Sawaske matter (file 51770) after the fiduciary, Kim Switkowski, appeared, was sworn and verified the accounts. The court noted Mike McFarland’s waiver as guardian ad litem was in the file and that no objections were filed.

Switkowski testified the conservatee was doing well: employed part time for about four years and attending school. The court found all filings in order and signed the order allowing the accounts. The judge told counsel and the fiduciary to obtain copies of the signed order from the clerk’s office before leaving.

Discussion versus decision: testimony about the conservatee’s status and the waivers were part of the record; the court then issued the formal order allowing the second and third accountings. No fees or objections were reported in court for these accountings.
