Homer Glen agrees to 30‑day trial public‑relations agreement with ClearFi Digital

Trustees indicated a consensus to engage ClearFi Digital on a 30‑day trial to assist village communications and resident outreach. The village manager and several trustees said staff capacity to manage ongoing social media and communications has been limited after recent staffing changes, and trustees said residents have repeatedly asked for more timely information.

Trustees described the trial as an interim measure while staff prepares a formal request for proposals (RFP); several trustees endorsed trying a short contract to evaluate the company’s capabilities and then proceed to an RFP. Village Manager Joe Baber confirmed staff support for a short-term arrangement while the administration prepares to pursue a competitive procurement process.
