Pathway mayor Nora Aspieth tells Baker County commissioners she has resigned for health reasons

During the public‑comment portion of the Aug. 25 session, Nora Aspieth told the Baker County commissioners that she had resigned her position as mayor of the City of Pathway effective Aug. 14 due to “extreme health circumstances.”

Aspieth said she would no longer be the contact for the city and asked county communications be routed to the city's recorder, Sally (surname not specified), going forward. She thanked county officials for their cooperation on joint efforts, including fire response.
