Woodbridge Employment Opportunity Center Promotes Local Job Listings for Residents

During the recent Woodbridge Township Council meeting, several community-focused initiatives were highlighted, showcasing the township's commitment to supporting its residents.

One of the key announcements was a reminder for residents seeking employment to visit the Woodbridge Township Employment Opportunity Center. The center features job listings from local companies such as BASF, FedEx, New Jersey Transit, and the U.S. Postal Service, offering a range of full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. This initiative aims to connect residents with local job opportunities, fostering economic growth within the community.

Additionally, the Woodbridge Golden Saints announced upcoming free cheer clinics scheduled for May and June at the Cypress Center. They also opened registration for their spring flag football program, encouraging parents to get involved by reaching out via email or visiting their website for more information.

Another significant event discussed was the Greenway Family Success Center's Field Day and Parent Resource Fair, set for Saturday, April 13, with a rain date of April 14. This event, aimed at children aged 5 to 13, will take place at the Cypress Recreation Center and promises a variety of engaging activities.

In recognition of Women's History Month, the Greenway Family Success Center is also seeking donations for its women's health closet, which provides free feminine hygiene products and essentials to women and teens in need. Currently serving an average of 35 individuals each month, the center is looking for sustainable support to expand its reach.
