Yellowstone County Commissioners Approve Expansion of Clarks Fork River RSIDs

Yellowstone County Commissioners took significant steps towards community development during their March 19, 2024, meeting by approving two resolutions aimed at expanding special improvement districts in the Clarks Fork area.

The first resolution, numbered 2439, was passed to expand the Clarks Fork River Ranch Subdivision's RSID 709. This annual review process allows the county to assess whether lots should be added or removed from the district. Tim, a county representative, highlighted that one lot, which has been benefiting from the services, was not included in the original RSID and thus warranted this expansion. Despite receiving a letter of protest from a local resident, the resolution was approved unanimously by the commissioners.

Following this, the commissioners moved on to resolution 2440, which sought to expand RSID 723 for the Clarks Fork Estates Subdivision. Similar to the previous resolution, this expansion aims to enhance community infrastructure and services. The public hearing for this resolution was opened, allowing residents to voice their opinions, although no significant opposition was noted at the time.
