County Clerk addresses election staffing and integrity amid recent leadership changes

The clerk also noted their strong support from constituents, having received more delegate votes at the Republican convention than any other candidate. "I feel that I have a mandate for my constituents... to run a fair and honest election," they asserted, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining election integrity.

In response to questions about the chief deputy's role, the clerk explained that the position would encompass a range of responsibilities, including budget expertise and staff management, to ensure the office operates efficiently.
