Skoma's restaurant seeks permit for outdoor entertainment at Fisherman's Wharf

Mary Anne Costello, president of Skoma's, addressed the council, highlighting the restaurant's legacy as a family-owned business and its evolution since the pandemic. She emphasized the need for outdoor entertainment to enhance the vibrancy of Fisherman's Wharf, especially as neighboring businesses have closed and not reopened. Costello expressed hope that the permit would not only benefit Skoma's patrons but also contribute positively to the local community.

The council approved the permit with standard conditions, allowing Skoma's to move forward with its plans for entertainment. The discussion underscored the restaurant's commitment to adapting to changing community needs while preserving its historical significance in San Francisco.
