City proposes replacement of historic Levon Haga Nishkian Bridge to address seismic and sea level concerns

The Levon Haga Nishkian Bridge, a historic steel double bascule bridge built in 1950, is set for a major overhaul as San Francisco officials address its poor condition and the challenges posed by rising sea levels.
