San Francisco grants entertainment permits for Parthenon and Panam SF restaurants

"I hope we won't get complaints," he stated, emphasizing his proactive approach to neighbor relations.

Next, Panam SF, located at 523 Broadway, received approval for a diverse entertainment lineup, including burlesque shows and live bands. The owner, who also runs the adjacent Petite Paris, highlighted the importance of community outreach, noting that local residents were enthusiastic about the new offerings. "We want to bring Broadway back to life with good live entertainment," he said.

Finally, Simple Pleasures Cafe, the city's oldest coffee shop, was granted a permit to expand its outdoor entertainment options. Owner Ahmed shared his long-standing commitment to community engagement, stating, "We’ve been part of the neighborhood for nearly 50 years without any issues." His plans include hosting small performances in their parklet, further enriching the local culture.

All three permits were conditionally approved with staff recommendations, showcasing the city's support for local businesses while prioritizing community safety and satisfaction.
