City Council approves Persona's permit for live entertainment at 685 Sutter Street

The establishment, which features a full bar and lounge, sought permission to host indoor entertainment and play amplified music outdoors. While the owners requested extended hours for outdoor music, city staff recommended limiting these hours to 4 PM to 10 PM daily to respect the nearby residential community. The business has taken proactive steps to engage with locals, distributing 150 letters to nearby residents and businesses, resulting in no opposition to their permit application.

Javier Sanchez, representing Persona, expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed that two of the three owners were present to discuss the venture. The council's approval marks a significant step for Persona, which is set to contribute to the vibrant entertainment landscape of San Francisco.

As the meeting concluded, council members exchanged holiday greetings, highlighting the community spirit that surrounds the festive season.
