Angelie Remi honored as top employee at San Francisco Department of Homelessness

The San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) held a meeting on July 4, 2025, where they recognized Angelie Remi as the Employee of the Month for February. Remi, who serves as the equity officer, was praised for her significant contributions to improving the department's internal culture and enhancing diversity initiatives.

Remi has been instrumental in transforming HSH's approach to diversity, conducting over 20 racial equity trainings that have educated more than 95% of the staff on issues affecting marginalized groups.
