San Francisco Health Network opens new clinic for vulnerable adults at 555 Stevenson

A new clinic at 555 Stevenson Street is set to enhance healthcare services for vulnerable adults in San Francisco. It replaces the Tom Bodell Urgent Care Clinic, previously located at 50 Ivy, and is designed to provide top-quality behavioral and physical health services.

In addition to the clinic's opening, the meeting highlighted the achievements of Baljeet Senghar, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director of the San Francisco Health Network. Senghar received the prestigious Robert S. Hudgins Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year from the American College of Healthcare Executives, marking him as the first executive from a public health system to earn this honor. He will be recognized at the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago on March 21.

Furthermore, the Department of Public Health announced a significant boost in funding from the CDC, receiving $2.2 million to enhance STD prevention efforts and improve outbreak preparedness. This funding comes at a critical time, as the city continues to address ongoing health challenges, including the high prevalence of syphilis and recent outbreaks of MPOX.
