Director Colfax reports San Francisco's lowest COVID-19 case rate since pandemic began

The San Francisco City Council meeting on July 4, 2025, featured a significant update on the COVID-19 situation in the city, presented by Director Colfax. Two-thirds of the eligible population has completed their vaccination series.

Due to decreased demand, mass vaccination sites will soon close, shifting focus to neighborhood clinics and mobile vaccination teams.
