Gerald Baldomero celebrates Filipino graduates and awards 50 scholarships at Lincoln High School

The City of San Francisco celebrated its Filipino graduates and awarded scholarships to over 50 deserving students during a recent meeting. Gerald Baldomero, representing Cababa and the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), highlighted the achievements of these students, who were honored at Lincoln High School on May 26.

Baldomero, accompanied by Dr. Allison Tintiaco Cubales, expressed pride in recognizing the hard work and dedication of the scholarship recipients. Each student received a scholarship to support their educational journey, with names from various high schools announced during the meeting.

Among the recipients were students from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, Balboa High School, Burton High School, Galileo High School, Lincoln High School, Lowell High School, Thurgood Marshall High School, Mission High School, Academy High School, and Washington High School. The list included students like Parker Burrows, Alana Rivera, Fatima Abdelkador, and Aiden Amores, among many others.

The event underscored the city's commitment to supporting its youth and fostering educational opportunities. Baldomero concluded by wishing all the scholarship recipients success in their future educational endeavors, reinforcing the importance of community support in shaping the next generation.
