San Francisco Budget Committee discusses racial equity in hiring and housing funding

Additionally, the committee addressed an ordinance proposing the appropriation of approximately $64.1 million from the fiscal cliff reserve to support rent relief and the creation of affordable housing. Supervisor Preston requested to continue this item for further discussion at the next meeting, which was unanimously approved by the committee.
