San Francisco honors COVID Task Force Neighborhood Vaccine Team for outstanding service

In a recent government meeting held by the City of San Francisco, significant recognition was given to various teams within the Department of Public Health (DPH) for their outstanding contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since its inception in January 2021, the team has operated ten community-based vaccination sites across neighborhoods such as the Mission, Bayview Hunters Point, and the Tenderloin. Their efforts have resulted in over 66,000 vaccinations administered, showcasing their commitment to health equity and community engagement.
