Laguna reports COVID cases drop from 55 to 2 amid strict safety measures

In a recent update from Laguna Honda Hospital, Director Pickens reported a significant decline in COVID-19 cases among residents, showcasing the effectiveness of stringent health measures. After a concerning spike that saw 55 residents testing positive, the hospital has successfully reduced that number to just two active cases. This achievement comes as over 90 percent of residents are fully vaccinated and boosted, with many experiencing mild or no symptoms.

In addition to these measures, Laguna Honda has begun administering the new bivalent COVID-19 vaccine to both staff and residents, aiming to maintain high vaccination rates.
