Fire Commission updates 40-year-old policies with new rules and procedures

Chief Mullins noted that while the division remains on the organizational chart, its staffing has been a budgetary decision rather than a reflection of operational needs.

The next meeting is scheduled for September 27, where the Asian Firefighters Association will present on their recent volunteer efforts in Maui, further emphasizing the commission's focus on community engagement and support.
