Chief Darcy enhances airport fire department training and safety protocols

The recent government meeting in San Francisco highlighted significant developments in the city's fire department operations, particularly at the airport. Chief Darcy reported that his team has successfully reintegrated the airport's fire services, enhancing collaboration with city operations. This includes the reactivation of the Marine unit and the training of new airport firefighter response vehicle operators, which allows for greater staffing flexibility.
