Commissioners approve legacy business registry applications with unanimous support

Another commissioner highlighted a significant decline in profits for some businesses, noting an 85% drop in 2020, and urged continued support for these establishments to ensure their survival for future generations.

Following the discussions, a motion to approve all legacy business registry applications was made and unanimously passed by the commissioners with a vote of 7-0. The meeting also addressed logistical concerns for attendees, reminding them of available seating and overflow accommodations.

In addition to the legacy business discussions, the commission briefly touched on the Inner Sunset historic context statement, which is under consideration for adoption or modification. The meeting underscored the commission's commitment to preserving the cultural and historical fabric of San Francisco through support for its legacy businesses and historic districts.
