San Francisco awards $3.7M EPA grant for India Basin Shoreline Park improvements

Toni Moran, the Capital Grants Manager, explained that the project aims to create a living shoreline that will adapt to rising sea levels and improve the ecological health of the area.

The committee members expressed their support for these initiatives, recognizing the importance of maintaining and enhancing public spaces while also addressing environmental concerns. The meeting concluded with a call for further funding sources to complete the broader India Basin project, which has an estimated total cost of $78 million.
