DAS commission honors Jatzel Martinez for exemplary work in home supportive services

The San Francisco City Council meeting on July 4, 2025, highlighted the significant contributions of Jatzel Martinez, a social worker from the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program. In this initiative, Martinez collaborates closely with building staff and a Homebridge care team to engage residents who may be hesitant to accept services. Her efforts have reportedly helped prevent evictions for several residents, showcasing her compassion and teamwork.
