Residents raise security concerns over Leavenworth and Reid HOA property modifications

Residents expressed dissatisfaction with the notification process for the meeting, claiming many were unaware of the discussions due to inconsistent communication. One speaker, who moved into the area in October 2019, stated they received only one notice about the meeting, while others reported similar experiences of missing notifications.

In response, the permit holder, Mr. Tianqi, shared his family's background and the reasons for seeking a permit to expand their home. He explained that after moving to San Francisco in 2017, their family grew, and the current living space became inadequate. The pandemic prompted them to consider relocating to a suburban area for safety, especially with a newborn on the way.

The meeting underscored the ongoing tension between residents seeking peace and security in their homes and the challenges posed by property developments and occupancy issues.
