Rosa Parks community honors educators and awards teacher Draven Lee at Grattan Elementary

During a recent San Francisco government meeting, the community came together to honor the dedicated educators of Rosa Parks Elementary School and recognize outstanding contributions within the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD).

Principal Darren and staff from Rosa Parks were acknowledged for their exceptional service, particularly in light of recent tragic events affecting schools nationwide. Principal Darren expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of Robb Elementary School in Texas, emphasizing the resilience and commitment of his team. "The staff at Rosa Parks has shown themselves to be an exemplary group that goes above and beyond every day," he stated, highlighting their readiness to support students in challenging situations.

The meeting also featured the Rave Awards, celebrating valuable employees within the district. Draven Lee, a beloved teacher at Grattan Elementary School, received a Distinguished Service Award.
