Housing Department plans community outreach and equity initiatives to enhance tenant support

San Francisco County officials are ramping up efforts to enhance public communication and outreach, particularly in the wake of the pandemic. During a recent government meeting, the focus was on improving accessibility and engagement with diverse communities, especially regarding housing issues.

The Rent Board highlighted its commitment to multilingual communication, offering resources in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Filipino. Officials have already engaged with major property management associations to address concerns about privacy and reporting requirements.
