The San Francisco County Board of Supervisors has announced a new hybrid meeting format that allows for both in-person attendance and remote participation. This change aims to enhance public access and engagement during meetings.
During these meetings, public comment will be taken on each agenda item. Individuals attending in person will have the opportunity to speak first, followed by those participating via telephone. The public can join the meeting remotely by calling (415) 655-0001 and entering the meeting ID 24969054544. Participants will be muted upon connection and will need to dial 3 when their item of interest is discussed to be added to the speaker line.
For those who prefer to submit comments in writing, they can do so via email to the rules committee clerk at victor.young@sfgov.org, or by mailing their comments to the Board of Supervisors at City Hall, 1 Doctor Carlton Beagle Place, Room 244, San Francisco, California, 94102.
This initiative reflects the board's commitment to ensuring equitable public access and participation in local governance.
