SFPD outlines community engagement plans after SF Safe suspends operations

They emphasized that while a long-term strategy is being formulated, immediate responses are necessary. The SFPD aims to provide safety consultations and security recommendations directly to affected businesses and residents within the next 30 to 60 days.

The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining community safety and trust during this transitional period. As the SFPD seeks to establish direct relationships with the community, it will also explore partnerships with other city departments and community agencies to enhance its outreach and support efforts.
