Senate passes air rifle hunting amendments and modifies open meeting requirements

One of the primary topics was Senate Bill 205, which proposes amendments to air rifle hunting regulations. The bill received strong support, passing with 23 votes in favor and only 2 against, and will now move to the House for further consideration.

After deliberation, the third substitute of House Bill 135 passed with 13 votes in favor and 9 against, and it will be returned for filing.

The meeting concluded with reports from the Business and Labor Committee, which recommended favorable replacements for Senate Bill 182 concerning digital asset amendments and Senate Bill 212 related to a manufacturing modernization grant program.
