Riverside County honors Holocaust Remembrance Day and Donate Life Month

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors held a regular meeting on April 2, 2024, focusing on several significant proclamations and community awareness initiatives. The meeting featured a poignant testimony from Margarita Hidalgo, a local donor mom whose son, Anthony, became an organ donor after his tragic passing due to a fentanyl overdose. Hidalgo's story underscored the impact of donation and the importance of community support in saving lives.

The meeting concluded with a presentation related to National Victims' Rights Week, which included a brief video and remarks from Patricia Cardenas. The board's discussions highlighted the significance of remembrance, community health initiatives, and the ongoing efforts to support victims and their families.
