The average salary for superintendents in Arkansas was reported at $130,005.54, while charter school superintendents earned an average of $122,817. Notably, districts with student populations between 5,001 and 25,000 reported the highest average salaries, reaching an impressive $240,000.

In contrast, the lowest superintendent salary was recorded at $113,000 in the North Central region, while the highest was $150,007.33 in the Central region. The discussion also touched on the employment of various personnel within central offices, with 47 assistant superintendents reported at an average salary of $41.03 per hour.
