Fate Texas wins Texas Downtown Award for community center renovation

The City of Fate celebrated a significant achievement during its recent council meeting on December 2, 2024, as it was awarded the Texas Downtown Award for Best Downtown Partnership and Best Renovation for its community center. This recognition highlights the city's commitment to enhancing local infrastructure and community spaces, showcasing the collaborative efforts of the leadership class of 2023 and the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to this accolade, the council introduced Matthew Wavering as the new Economic Development Director.
