Chamber of Commerce reports growing visitor interest in Fort Mohave

During the recent City Council meeting on March 28, 2023, the Needles Chamber of Commerce provided an encouraging update on the local visitor center, highlighting a steady increase in visitor engagement. The center reported welcoming 53 visitors in February and 97 so far in March, drawing guests from 11 different states, as well as international travelers from Canada, England, and Australia. This influx of visitors is a positive sign for the local economy and tourism efforts.

The Chamber's report also noted a significant rise in communication, with 232 emails and 246 calls received in February and March, respectively. These inquiries came from local businesses, the general public, and government offices, indicating a growing interest in the community and its offerings.

In addition to visitor engagement, the Chamber celebrated the success of a recent golf tournament, which attracted 45 players. Although turnout was lower than anticipated, plans are already in place to enhance the event for next year.

To further support local businesses, the Chamber announced the launch of monthly breakfast events, set for the fourth Thursday of each month. These gatherings will rotate locations among local eateries, providing businesses with a platform to showcase their offerings while fostering community connections.

This update reflects the Chamber's commitment to promoting Needles as a vibrant destination and supporting local enterprises, ultimately benefiting residents and visitors alike.
