Crockett Library secures $10,000 for bookmobile initiative with community donations

The City of Crockett Council meeting on January 11, 2022, highlighted significant developments regarding community support for the local library and updates from the police department.

A donation from the Catherine Salas Foundation, combined with other contributions, has raised over $20,500 for the library. The department's manpower and criminal incident report for November and December revealed that 13 officers worked a total of 2,266 hours, responding to 428 calls for service. The report detailed various incidents, including traffic accidents and arrests, providing insight into the department's activities during this period.
