Clear Lake Planning Commission approves gas station and convenience store on Dam Road

The Clearlake Planning Commission convened on May 10, 2022, to discuss several key agenda items, including a conditional use permit for a new gas station and convenience store, as well as a series of cannabis-related applications.

After confirming no further comments from the public, the hearing was closed, and a motion was made to adopt the resolution recommending approval of the conditional use permit. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously by the commissioners.

The meeting then transitioned to the next agenda item concerning conditional use permit applications related to cannabis operations. Commissioner McCarrick recused herself from this discussion due to a conflict of interest. Staff presented details on the applications, which included a development agreement and an environmental assessment for the Clayix Harfests Company LLC.
