City Council praises code enforcement for resolving RV parking issue near hospital

City of Clearlake officials celebrated a successful collaboration between code enforcement and law enforcement during the February 3, 2022, City Council meeting. Councilman Paul emphasized the positive impact of their joint efforts in addressing a parked RV that had raised safety concerns among residents near the hospital. He praised the teams for their professionalism and timely response, stating, "It just really made people feel safer in the neighborhood."

The meeting also included a public comment segment, where residents were invited to address the council on matters not listed on the agenda. However, no comments were received from the public, either in person or via Zoom.

Following public comments, the council moved to approve the consent agenda, which passed unanimously. The council then shifted focus to a significant agenda item regarding support for the Lakes Area Planning Council's pursuit of a rural REM program in Lake County.
