City commissioners approve conditional use permit for vitamin therapy spa in Canyon Corners

During the recent Snyderville Basin Planning Commission meeting on January 24, 2023, the commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a new vitamin therapy spa located in the Canyon Corners development. This decision, passed with a 6-0 vote, is expected to enhance local health and wellness options without altering the existing site plan or building exterior, aside from a new sign.

The proposed spa will occupy a 730-square-foot unit near Whole Foods and will operate with a small number of clients and staff at any given time, minimizing potential impacts on parking and traffic in the area. Principal Planner Ray Milner presented the application, emphasizing that the spa aligns with the neighborhood commercial zone's permitted uses.
