Maryland sets ambitious educational targets through 2026 for student proficiency and readiness

The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has unveiled ambitious targets aimed at transforming educational outcomes across the state during the Education Transformation and Accountability Committee meeting held on December 14, 2023. The meeting focused on setting measurable goals for student readiness and achievement over the next three years, with a strong emphasis on data-driven methodologies.
