Parks and Recreation Department highlights three years of growth and community engagement

During the Regular City Council Meeting on May 1, 2024, the Soledad City Council received an update on the Parks and Recreation Department's progress over the past three years. Paz highlighted the department's commitment to partnerships, which have been instrumental in providing services such as the monthly SoCo senior lunch program, now serving 40 to 50 seniors each month. The department is also working on a master plan to further align its offerings with community needs, with plans for facility upgrades and increased accessibility.
