School Leaders honor FCCLA students at Mason County High event

The Mason County Fiscal Court Regular Meeting on February 13, 2024, kicked off with a sense of community spirit as attendees participated in the Pledge of Allegiance. Following the pledge, a roll call confirmed the presence of all key officials, including Commissioners McKay, Hearn, O'Brien, and Judge McNeil.

The meeting featured a heartfelt invocation led by Tony Lease, who expressed gratitude for the nation and community, emphasizing the importance of wisdom in leadership as discussions unfolded.

A highlight of the meeting was the recognition of Mason County High School students Griffin Martinez and Alex Brannon from the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Their presence underscored the court's commitment to engaging with local youth and fostering educational partnerships. High school principal Seth Faulkner also attended, reinforcing the connection between the school and local government.
