KDOT schedules multiple meetings on US 69 Highway public safety initiatives

Crawford County officials are gearing up for a series of important discussions regarding local infrastructure, particularly focusing on the US 69 Highway. During the recent meeting, it was announced that multiple Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) meetings will take place on February 26 and 27, aimed at engaging local public officials in discussions about the highway's future.

On February 26, two KDOT meetings will be held at Pittsburg State University, with the first session from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and the second from 11 AM to 1 PM. Similarly, on February 27, meetings are scheduled at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac and Northeast High School in Arma, providing further opportunities for commissioners to participate in these critical discussions.

Additionally, a work session is set for February 28 at 9:30 AM, where Road and Bridge Coordinator Alyssa Edwards will lead a discussion on dusk control and assault bids. This session is expected to address key operational aspects of road management in the county.
