Neshaminy Schools celebrate student artwork and upcoming community events

The Neshaminy School District's recent public meeting highlighted a vibrant array of student artwork from Schweitzer Elementary, Maple Pointe, and Sandburg Middle School, showcasing the creativity and skills of young artists. Attendees were encouraged to explore the displays, which reflect the students' learning in various art principles and techniques, culminating in mixed media compositions as they progress through their education.

In addition to the art exhibition, the meeting coincided with Read Across America week, running from February 27 to March 3. This national celebration of reading aims to engage students with diverse stories that broaden their perspectives and foster a love for reading. Literacy activities are planned across all subjects to ignite enthusiasm for learning among students.

The meeting also announced the upcoming 69th annual gym night, an exciting tradition set for March 3 and 4, which has already sold out. Participants can show their team spirit by supporting either the red or blue team at local Chick-fil-A locations, where points will be awarded based on team representation.

Lastly, the Harlem Wizards will be performing at Neshaminy High School on March 11, providing another opportunity for community engagement and entertainment. Tickets for this event can be purchased through the district's website.
