Scranton High School Choral Program earns national recognition with first grand championship victory

The Scranton School District's recent work session highlighted the impressive achievements of the Scranton High School Choral Program, which has gained national recognition as the only competitive show choir program in Pennsylvania. President Olivia Little, alongside directors Ronelle Barrett, Miranda Saborski, and Patrick Hein, expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the board of directors, district staff, and the community.

During the meeting, Little shared that the choir concluded the season ranked as the fourth-best tier 2 mixed show choir in the nation, marking a significant milestone with their first-ever grand championship win in Ohio.
