Chick Fil A parade set to feature 200 units and Santa in festive community celebration

The Chesapeake community is gearing up for an exciting holiday celebration with the announcement of the 13th Annual Chick-fil-A Parade, set to feature a record-breaking 198 units. This year’s event promises to be a vibrant showcase of local spirit, with a diverse lineup that includes motorcycles, cars, jeeps, and participation from the fire and police departments, local churches, and dance groups.

Organizers are thrilled about the parade, which is expected to draw between 3,000 to 4,000 attendees. A dedicated team of 12 volunteers has been working year-round to ensure the event runs smoothly, supported by an additional parking committee to manage new routes for easier access. With around 200 volunteers contributing their time and effort, the parade is not just a festive occasion but a testament to community collaboration.
