Pasadena opens multiple vote centers ahead of crucial November 5 election

In a recent Pasadena City Council meeting held on October 28, 2024, officials emphasized the importance of upcoming elections and provided crucial information for residents regarding voting procedures. With Election Day fast approaching on November 5, city leaders encouraged community members to participate in the democratic process.

The meeting highlighted the opening of multiple vote centers across Pasadena, with two already operational: the Armenian Evangelical Church and Morning Star Christian Church. Additional centers will open on Saturday, November 2, at locations including First United Methodist Church, Jefferson Branch Library, and Pasadena City College, among others. A special one-day vote center will also be available at Robinson Park Recreation Center.

Residents were reminded that they can return their mail-in ballots at designated drop box locations throughout the city or vote in person at any of the vote centers. It is crucial for voters to ensure their ballots are submitted by 8 PM on November 5 to be counted.

City officials stressed the significance of the measures on the ballot, urging all eligible voters to make their voices heard. The council meeting concluded with a reminder that the next city council gathering will take place on November 18, allowing for further discussions on community issues following the election.
