Bristol Eastern High School students shine at UConn French Immersion Day and Quiz Bowl

The Bristol Board of Education held its regular meeting on December 4, 2024, focusing on staff and student recognition, the approval of previous meeting minutes, and updates from various committees.

The meeting began with Superintendent White acknowledging the achievements of Bristol Eastern High School students who participated in the annual French Immersion Day and Quiz Bowl competition at the University of Connecticut. Committee reports were also presented, with the Student Achievement Committee sharing insights from their recent meeting, which included discussions on multilingual learner progress and curriculum revisions. The next meeting for this committee is scheduled for December 18, while the Policy Committee will meet again on January 22.
