Graduating class celebrates resilience and unity in tough year

In a heartfelt ceremony celebrating the resilience and achievements of the graduating class of 2021, Skyridge High School honored its 98 Falcon Scholars during the Night of Excellence. These students, recognized for their exceptional academic performance, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher, achieved a minimum composite score of 26 on the ACT, and engaged in various extracurricular activities and community service.

The event featured speeches from student body leaders Luke Stenman, Addie Hatch, and Abigail Lowe, who emphasized the foundational principles of excellence, respect, and integrity that define the Falcon community. Stenman highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive outlook despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, encouraging his peers to continue smiling through adversity.
