Community rallies for World War 2 tribute fundraiser gala

The event will take place at Grand Harbor and includes a four-course meal and entertainment, with tickets priced at $250.

Fortunato emphasized the importance of the event, noting that all proceeds, after covering meal costs, will directly support the tribute. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses, with different levels of support recognized in the event program.

Additionally, the meeting highlighted a groundbreaking ceremony set for March 23rd at 11 AM on the island. The ceremony will feature performances, including the national anthem sung by Lisa Eaton, and will include remarks from local officials. Attendees are encouraged to participate in this significant community event, which aims to honor fallen veterans.
