Firefighters celebrate Smokey Bear's legacy with kids event

Firefighter Kure, who led the activities, received praise for his exceptional interaction with the children, prompting suggestions that he consider a future in teaching.

One resident, Ted Barn Hill, raised an issue regarding stormwater management, specifically noting that the stormwater drains on South Flagler Avenue, near the police station, became clogged during recent rainfall. This highlights ongoing concerns about local infrastructure and its ability to handle severe weather conditions.
