California Senate passes crucial bills to protect residents

Senate Bill 1181, introduced by Senator Glaser, received unanimous support with a vote tally of 55-0. This legislation extends the timeframe for mobile home park residents to rectify violations under the Mobile Home Parks Act from 60 to 90 days. Mr. Wallace highlighted that this extension would provide vulnerable residents with additional time to seek assistance and reduce the risk of eviction, thereby enhancing protections for Californians living in mobile home parks.
