Airport achieves record 99% passenger satisfaction rating

In a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the impressive results of a passenger satisfaction survey conducted by the Ciena Research Institute at the Albany County Airport. The director of the program noted that in his three decades of experience, he had never encountered such high satisfaction levels from a commercial enterprise. The survey revealed a remarkable 99% of passengers rated their experience as good to excellent, a statistic that underscores the airport's commitment to enhancing customer service.

Airport officials emphasized their ongoing efforts to address the needs of the remaining 1% of passengers who may not be fully satisfied, aiming to create the most intelligent, progressive, and passenger-friendly airport environment possible.

Additionally, the meeting included discussions on the airport's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), which is presented every five years. The last update was provided in 2019, and officials are now preparing to present the next iteration of the plan, which aims to further improve airport facilities and services.
